Appointments

By booking an appointment with us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable non-transferable to another client and only valid for 6 months from the time of your original booking.

Rescheduling/Cancellations
All Cosmetic Tattoo appointments require four(4) days notice to reschedule.
All other treatments require 48 hours notice to reschedule.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and affect your ability to keep an appointment. However, please be aware that cancelling or rescheduling on short notice greatly impacts us as a small business. Our appointment policy, outlined below, strictly governs all booking fees and applicable cancellation/rescheduling fees, and we reserve the right to apply a cancellation fee. By booking an appointment with Browtisan Cosmetic, you acknowledge and accept our appointment policy.

Please note: Instagram DM’s are not accepted for cancellations/rescheduling and will be subjected as a ‘no show’

Failure to provide the aforementioned notice for your treatment will mean you forfeit your deposit and you will be required to pay another deposit to make another booking.

Running late
If you are running late to your appointment, please call and let us know ASAP as you run the risk of losing your appointment and deposit. Whilst, we will always try to accomodate you, it unfortunately is not always possible due to our schedule. 

If you are over 15 minutes late, your appointment will treated as a ‘no show’ and you will lose your
appointment and deposit - and another deposit will be required to make another booking.

Client Safety
When scheduling an appointment with us, it is important to inform us about any medical conditions that may be relevant or effect your treatment. This allows us to ensure that the chosen procedures are suitable for you. Additionally, if you are currently using taking oral medications, topical skin medication, active skin products such as creams, serums, or cleansers, or if you are using acne medication, it is vital to inform your specialist during each visit.

Please know that we have the right to decline treatment if you arrive for an appointment while being unwell or ill. In such cases, the booking fee will be forfeited. 

Our priority is to provide a safe environment for all our valued clients.

Liability
At Browtisan, we prioritize the well-being and safety of our clients above all else. We take every precaution and demonstrate utmost care and expertise in providing our treatments. While it is rare, it's important to note that in some cases reactions or infections may occur within 48-hours after your appointment.

By proceeding with the appointment, you acknowledge and release Browtisan from any liability for any injury or illness that may arise as a result of the treatment.

Gift Card Appointments
Treatments booked and prepaid by gift vouchers will forfeit the full amount of the voucher or to the equivalent amount of the booked treatment price should the appointment be cancelled within our standard cancellation/reschedule policy.

Cosmetic Tattoo

YOU MUST:
- Be 18+ years or older

YOU MUST NOT:
-Be pregnant
-Suffer from keloid scarring in treating area/s
-Be on Roaccutane (or off medication for at least 12 months unless you have a letter from your dermatologist
-Take Aspirin or ibuprofen prior to appointment
-Take fish oil or vitamin E at least 5 days prior to your appointment (Natural blood thinners) 
-Take Vitamin A/Retinol products 1 month prior to tattoo ( In the treated area)
-Drink caffeine or energy drinks 48 hours prior to appointment 
-Drink alcohol 72 hours prior to appointment
-Work out 8 hours prior to the appointment
-Wax or tweeze the area (unless it is 5 days or more before appointment)
-Tan one week prior or have a sunburnt face (you will forfeit your deposit if you come to your appointment with a sunburnt face) 

OTHER:
-Please inform me prior if you are prone to bleeding easily
-Smokers, please try and limit the intake prior to your appointment as it increases bleeding
-Wash your hair just before your brow tattoo appointment as you cannot get them wet for 10-14 days after

Numbing Cream
It is required by law that clients need to purchase their own numbing cream labeled with your details. If you would like, Please click this link to purchase at least 5 days prior to your appointment. The cream will be sent directly to the studio. This will cover both appointments.Please do not hesitate to give us a call or email us if you require further clarification - we are always here and happy to help!

Refund Policy

Refund of Treatments
At Browtisan, we pride ourselves on delivering treatments with the highest level of precision and skill. However, it's important to acknowledge that there are certain factors outside of our control that can contribute to less than desired outcomes. These factors may include individual skin type, lifestyle factors, and post-treatment care.

Keeping this in mind, we want to be transparent and inform you that Browtisan cannot guarantee specific results. We believe in providing honest and realistic expectations for our clients. Therefore, we do not offer refunds for less than ideal results caused by these factors.

Please note that all booking fees for your appointment are non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding in this matter as we aim to provide the best possible service while managing these variables.

Rest assured, our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional treatments and will work closely with you to achieve the best possible outcome. Your satisfaction and happiness are of the utmost importance to us.

Other Refunds
We understand that sometimes circumstances change, but we kindly ask for your understanding regarding our refund policy.

At Browtisan, we do not offer refunds for services or booking fees. This policy applies to situations where a customer has a change of mind or decides they do not like the service or have no use for it.

If you have prepaid for a treatment and choose to cancel or not complete the remaining prepaid treatments, the full cost of the treatment will be forfeited.Regarding gift cards, we are unable to provide any refunds.

Services
Browtisan Cosmetic provides cosmetic tattooing and other beauty treatments performed by our artists/technicians. By booking an appointment either through the website or at the salon, you agree to our terms as well as any additional terms and conditions provided to you for your specific service.

Pricing and Payment Terms
All prices for Services are listed on our website and/or at the salon and are subject to change. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, or cash. Payment must be made in full at the end of your appointment.

Privacy Policy and Customer Data
We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, as well as your rights. By using our Services, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

Liability + Disclaimers
At Browtisan, we always take the upmost care and attention in performing our Treatments. However, we disclaim any liability for damages arising from or in connection with the Treatments. This disclaimer is to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not provide any warranty or representation regarding a specific result or outcome from our Treatments or Products.

Warranties + Guarantees
We provide a limited warranty that the Services will be performed in accordance with industry standards. However, due to the nature of cosmetic tattooing, we cannot guarantee consistency in color or shape between services. We provide no warranty of any kind for any products, tools, or equipment provided for home use.

General Terms and Conditions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement and understanding between Browtisan Cosmetic and you, and supersede any prior agreement or understanding, whether written or oral. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Services offered at any time, with or without cause, without notice. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, and any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
